The Murgia meets the sea
With the patronage of
The Centro Sub Corato APS ETS, in partnership with SIGEA (Italian Society of Environmental Geology), the ' ABAP (Association Biologists Environmentalists Pugliesi), sponsored by the Alta Murgia National Park , with The project investigates the Murgia meets the sea close relationship between the sea and the Murgian territory from a geomorphological and landscape-environmental point of view, organizing photographic and video exhibitions, conferences and conventions , but above all excursions and guided tours that reach the sea from the Murgian plateau.

CORSO DI FOTOGRAFIA NATURALISTICA E PAESAGGISTICA
Dal 29 agosto al 2 ottobre (il corso potrà prolungarsi per esigenza degli allievi).
Docente: Giuseppe Carlucci (fotografo naturalista e guida del Parco Nazionale dell’Ata Murgia)
29 agosto, ore 17:00, Presentazione presso il Liceo Artistico Federico II Stupor Mundi di Corato.
Previste 10 lezioni e 2 uscite, da realizzarsi necessariamente con un minimo di 8 allievi.

2021 Edition
with the patronage of
The Murgia meets the sea Project , with the patronage of the Municipality of Corato and the Alta Murgia National Park , is included in the program of the Coratina Summer 2021 events entitled You are my city .
Aims
- Investigate the problems related to the abandonment of artefacts and their possible recovery.
- Inculcate a sense of beauty through nature photography, with a view to raising awareness of the protection of the environment.
- Make known the close geological, naturalistic and landscape ties between the Murgia and the Sea, specifically the continuity between the Murgian blades and the marine coves.
Calendar
27 August - 8 October: Naturalistic and landscape photography course, curated by Giuseppe Carlucci, with the collaboration of Nicola Nemore. Course structure: 10 theoretical lessons and 2 outputs .

28 August, 18:00, Cloister of the Palazzo di Città: Conference on "Circular economy and recovery of abandoned state property" by Dr. Elvira Taritano, president of ABAP and professor at the University of Bari "Aldo Moro ") and Prof. Serena Petrone (Corato Art School, Friends of the Museums association);
19 September: Naturalistic excursion * from Lama Reale to the III cove of Molfetta (with the possibility of diving);
3 October: Naturalistic excursion * to the Mercadante forest, the Picone and Lamasinata streams, San Girolamo gully.

La Murgia Meets the Sea , 2019 Edition, at Palazzo Palmieri in Trani.
The photographic exhibition, created in collaboration with the Pro Loco Trani, touches on the two great themes of nature and places of memory.
The photos were taken by: Giuseppe Carlucci and Walter Caterina (nature photographs), Nicola Nemore (landscape photographs) and Giuseppe Pignataro (underwater photographs) .
