The woman and the water
Since 2011 , the Centro Sub Corato APS ETS , with other associations active in the area, has given life to the Woman and Water Project , both symbols of life , thus relating the role of women within society and the theme of 'water , all this from multiple points of view: historical-mythological, psychological, economic and social.
The Project The woman and the water through various initiatives, such as conferences and photographic exhibitions , also tends to encourage greater female participation in the multiple forms of underwater activities .
As part of the Woman and the Water Project, in 2021 the first literary competition entitled The woman and the sea was born, which sees Kepown as an official partner , the first social network dedicated to writers!

The Centro Sub Corato APS ETS , as part of the Woman and Water Project , in collaboration with the Kepown platform, the first social network of writers, launched, in the summer of 2021, the first literary competition entitled Woman and the sea .
The literary competition entitled The woman and the sea , with the patronage of the Municipality of Corato , is included in the program of the events of the Coratina Summer 2021 entitled You are my city .
Calendar
Submission of works: from 02 August to 20 October 2021, 11.59 pm;
Announcement of results: October 25, 2021, notification will be via e-mail;
Award ceremony: 30 October 2021, 6.30 pm, at the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Corato.
Jury
The Jury is made up of prominent elements of Italian publishing, teachers and journalists whose names will remain anonymous for reasons of security and privacy .
The Jury evaluates the works individually and assigns a score based on:
Form: Linguistic competence and formal correctness (correct use of the language);
Content: Originality of the content and relevance to the theme (when applicable);
Communication: Ability to convey emotions and expressive originality;
Photographic coherence: Adaptation of images to narration.
Awards
1st prize: book voucher worth € 100.00;
2nd prize: book voucher worth € 50.00;
3rd prize: basket of typical local products.
Regulation
1. The literary prize La donna e il mare (tells, shoots and geolocates) is open to everyone. Interested parties will be able to participate with short stories, collections of poems, novels and / or other contents of MINIMUM 10,000 characters that recall the genres included in the Kepown platform.
2. Participation in the competition is free, upon registration on the www.kepown.com portal
3. The texts must be uploaded in the period between 02 August to 20 October 2021 on www.kepown.com by inserting the hashtags # ladonnaeilmare21 and #CSC
4. The stories can be accompanied by photographs ( maximum 5 photos per chapter ).
5. Each participant must enter a maximum of two texts specifying obligatorily, under penalty of exclusion: title , date (timeline), place (pin gps), description (abstract), cover image ( mandatory ).
6. It is necessary to save chapter by chapter before publishing the entire text ( Kebook )
7. Participants must enter their Kebook as PUBLIC , under penalty of exclusion from the competition.
8. Cumulative entries of several authors are not allowed, but each single participant must be classified as a single user.
9. The results of the competition will be published on the official website of the Centro Sub Corato APS ETS : https://centrosubcorato.wixsite.com/centro-sub-corato
10. Winners will be notified personally by email
